3 IDIOTS stay in Shimla, Saif-Kareena return!

After completing her part of the shooting for the Shimla schedule of Rajkumar Hirani's 3 IDIOTS, Kareena Kapoor along with boyfriend Saif Ali Khan, bid adieu to the Himachal capital Shimla. It was a non–stop shooting spree before Bebo's departure and several important sequences were canned and almost 15 shots okayed, the most prominent one being Kareena's 'bidaai' ceremony, after her marriage to Sharman Joshi. A few outdoor shoots and indoor ones (in the Hotel Woodville Palace) were also canned. The hectic shooting schedule was because Kareena had to leave Shimla in order to go to US for the shooting of another film.

After the shooting was over, Bebo and Saif roamed around the Mall Road and the famous Ridge though they did not get out of their car. The next day (Thursday) Saif and Kareena left for Delhi, though the unit continues to remain in Shimla.

There is now news that Javed Jaffrey has also reached Shimla and has joined the unit of the Vidhu Vinod Chopra film. The whole scene has now shifted to the nearby famous tourist spot, Chail, where important sequences will be shot in and around the historical Chail Palace and its beautiful surroundings.
